Location: Southern, Missouri, United States

I am a 40 something Christian woman, married to a wonderful, romantic man and we have two sweet daughters. We live in an old two story cottage home on 3 little acres just inside our small town city limits. We enjoy having our friends and family into our home and living in a rural community with southern hospitality and charm. I enjoy our little country church and the families that we fellowship with there. Our home used to be a Tea Room that my Mama and I, along with my daughters, owned and operated. (See "Tea Rooms" located in my Labels.) It was so much fun and we hope to have another Tea Room someday. I love romantic things and like my home and clothing to reflect romance. I love bird houses and hearts and I have them around various parts of my home. Basically, I love everything romantic and I am a "Romantic at Heart." :) I hope to meet many new blogging friends here and share recipes and decorating ideas.

The Millers Family Band
From Springfield Missouri

This family of four (with an adopted mandolin player) are known for their rich harmony, wide ranging musical skills and family oriented bluegrass shows. They have taken the Southwest Missouri area by storm in the past 2 years making numerous appearances at all the great venues, big and small, including; Starvy Creek Bluegrass Festival, Conway, MO. Silver Dollar City Bluegrass & Barbecue Festival, Branson, MO. The Coleman Theater, Miami, OK. and Snyder Park Bluegrass Festival, Halltown, MO.... just to name a few.
"We met the Millers at the MSU Ozarks Celebration Festival and they were very helpful andfriendly. We hope to get to know them better soon!" - The Lane Familyhttp://www.themillers-bluegrass.com/

The Greer Family Band
From Lebanon Missouri

Since September 2002, they have been performing their bluegrass ballads and gospel songs at functions and festivals throughout the Ozarks of Missouri and Arkansas. Lindley Creek Bluegrass is the Greer family--John Rob and wife, Kathie; their fourteen year old son, Tate; their ten year old son, Jase, on fiddle; and Robbie Bryant. This group’s talent lies in picking acoustic instruments, singing harmonies, and even composing original songs. The band borrows its name from the Lindley Creek River in Southwestern Missouri (where John Rob grew up on a farm bordering it). Coaxed by some friends, the family nurtured their musical talents until they felt ready to perform for big audiences.

The Bankaster Family Band

It’s hard to beat the sweet sound of family harmonies, and the Bankester family has got some of the sweetest harmonies around. The Bankester sisters have grown up in a musical home. Ranging in age from eleven to eighteen, the girls are always singing around the house. Melissa is the oldest of the sisters, singing and playing the upright bass and banjo. Lindsey plays the mandolin and adds some of the lower vocal harmonies. Emily charms audiences with her sweet sounding lead voice and fiddle playing. Alysha adds a constant sparkle to the family with her fiddle, sweet voice, and infectious smile. Dorene (mom) and Phil (dad) both play guitar and sing with the girls.
